“Indian Students intending to join undergraduate medicine course (equivalent to MBBS Course) in any recognized foreign Medical Institution shall have to apply to the Medical Council of India, New Delhi, for issue of the ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE. Eligibility Certificate will be forwarded to the Student in due course by the Medical Council of India after necessary verifications. On Completion of medicine course and acquiring the degree, the candidate has to appear for SCREENING TEST conducted by the National Board of Examinations. The clearance of the same will entitle the student for award of provisional registration from the Medical Council of India or State Medical Councils. The student further undergoes one year internship in an approved institution in India for issue of permanent registration to practice as a Doctor in India.” |
