The Departments of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology and Community Medicine have been housed to provide the first two years' basic preclinical training for the students, and the well equipped UCMS Teaching Hospital caters to the Students for Clinical teaching etc. The MBBS batch commences every year, from the month of November, into the four and half years' course of study, divided into three phases; in addition to a year of compulsory rotating internship. Thus the total duration of the program is five and half years. The Medical Education is based on community
orientation, integration and problem solving. The Curriculum thus reflects an innovation in undergraduate Medical Education.

USMLE

The College would be training and preparing its students for the United States Medical Licensure Examination (USMLE) as part of the MBBS curriculum.
