| INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATION |

| The University is active in setting up international academic exchanges and co-operation. It has established relations with around 100 foreign universities, research institutes and companies. Over 2 decades, the number of visiting experts and professors has amounted to over 2000. |

| More than 200 of them have been awarded Honorary Professor, Guest Professor or Consultant Professor. About 3000 HUST staff members have studied overseas, excluding short-term visits, lectures and seminars. Approximately 1000 long-term international students have graduated here. Tongji Medical College is one of the most important institutions which have a very close tie with Germany in cultural exchange. |
