For the first time in India, Parents Association concerning the students pursuing medical education abroad was formed in August’2014 with registered office at Hyderabad, Telangana. The Association was registered with Government as a Society (Regd. No. 1138/2014) and represents parents from all regions of India. The organization has received recognition from Jinzhou (Liaoning) Medical University, China.

Initially, a Parents Committee was formed in August’2013 by few zealous parents on initiation by the consultancy M/s. Medico Abroad, Hyderabad which materialized as registered society with the core idea to enable parents take active participation in the progress of their wards, pave a communication bridge with university, solve any problems cropping up at the campus, and more importantly to mutually co‐operate towards the welfare and success of all students.

An executive Board formed for the purpose comprising the President, Vice‐Presidents, General Secretary, Treasurer and other Executive members conducted Executive Body meetings me to me (since 2014), taking active participation in the progress of their children studying MBBS in China.

The Medical education of Indian students in China, their progress, development and welfare measures forming the focus of activities.

Our Objectivies

* To work for welfare and progress of Indian students of China, with special attention to those in Jinzhou Medical University where the Indian students are studying through the agency M/s Medico Abroad Consultants.

* To remove any communication gap between the students and university authorities and to help maintain discipline and decorum at university campus by the students.

* To act like a bridge between the Indian students and University Authorities/Agency M/s Medico Abroad Consultants

* To set up, maintain and bring out newsletter in furtherance of the objectives of the Association covering the problems of students of China, and to strengthen the coordination activities of the Association with that of university.

* To inspire students of China to participate in intellectual and cultural pursuits by organizing literacy, social, cultural, seminars and sports events.

* To take up educational counseling through experts who can guide career planning and help the Medicos from China.

* To inculcate best practices of humility and humanity among the student fraternity by organizing events of charity and social responsibility.

* To motivate studies among students, effectively grooming them to be the best doctors in the entire world.

On every occasion of University officials' visit to India, Members of Parents Association held interactions on matters concerning co-operation and beer monitoring of Indian Students in China. Our gratitude to Prof. Paul, Dean of Jinzhou Medical University for his encouragement and instant recognition of our Association. The Parents Association had fruitful discussions yielding appreciable results.
